Nelna. Stamp Cutter Review

Recently, I tried decorating a guestbook with a friend using photos taken with a toy camera.

We printed the photos and decorated
the pages almost like journaling,
and it was a lot more fun than I expected!

That got me interested in journaling and decorating, so I started looking for different supplies to try.

While browsing, I found the Nelnal Stamp Cutter on sale.

Since I was already planning to pick up a few journaling supplies, I used an additional discount coupon and bought it for 8,900 KRW.

It looked like a simple but useful tool for decorating journals, so I decided to give it a try.

Nelnal Stamp Cutter

When you open the package, the stamp cutter itself is inside.

It was actually a little bigger than I expected.

At first, I thought it would only work with regular paper,
but after checking the specifications,
I found that it can cut quite a variety of materials.

According to the product information, it can be used with:

  • Paper: 80–500 g/m²
  • Corrugated cardboard: up to 1 mm
  • PVC: up to 0.5 mm
  • EVA foam: up to 2 mm
  • Balsa wood: up to 1 mm
  • Cork: up to 1 mm
  • Aluminum and copper sheets: up to 0.1 mm

There is also a lock switch on the bottom,
so you can keep the cutter locked when you’re not using it.

The blade inside is positioned diagonally,
which seems to help it cut the paper cleanly.

Once you unlock it, it’s ready to use!

How to Use the Nelnal Stamp Cutter

Using it is very simple.

Just insert the paper into the cutter
and press down from the top.

However, because of the cutter’s design,
you can’t insert paper very far into it.

So if you want to cut out something located
in the middle of a larger sheet or photo,
you’ll probably need to trim it down with scissors first.

And here’s the result!

The stamp shape came out much cleaner
and prettier than I expected.

The edges were neat, and the stamp-like shape
makes it really easy to turn ordinary photos or paper
into small decorative pieces for journaling.

My Experience

I bought the Nelnal Stamp Cutter after getting
into journaling, and I’ve been pretty happy with it so far!

It’s easy to use, and I especially like that
I can turn ordinary paper or printed photos
into stamp-shaped decorations.

I think there are plenty of ways to use it for journals, scrapbooks, photo albums, and other paper crafts.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s a limit to how far you can insert the paper into the cutter.

If you’re planning to cut something from the center of a large sheet or photo, you’ll need to trim it down first.

I also took a photo of it next to
the Nelnal Focus On Timer that I’ve been using.

Overall, I’d recommend the Nelnal Stamp Cutter
if you enjoy journaling or want an easy way to turn photos and paper into cute stamp-shaped decorations.

It’s simple, easy to use, and adds a nice little detail to journal pages without requiring much effort.
