Fujifilm X-T30 III Pouch Review | WAIYUJP Travel Hard Case
I recently bought a camera pouch
for my Fujifilm X-T30 III.
It worked well for everyday use,
but I wanted something a little sturdier
for longer trips.
When packing my camera
alongside other items in a backpack
or putting it in a suitcase,
I felt more comfortable
having a hard case.
While looking around,
I found one advertised
to fit the X-T30 series.
I chose it because it was listed
as compatible with the X-T30 III,
and received it as a birthday gift.
After trying it with my camera,
I was pleased with the fit.
Here’s my experience
with the WAIYUJP camera hard case.
WAIYUJP Camera Hard Case

The case I chose
is from WAIYUJP.
It was advertised as compatible
with the X-T50, X-T5, and X-T30.
I picked it specifically
to store my X-T30 III.
When I was looking,
I found gray and black options.
I usually prefer black
because it’s versatile
and doesn’t show dirt as easily.
So I went with black
this time too.
Interior Pocket and Retaining Strap

The interior is simple.
There’s a pocket
for spare batteries or cables,
along with an elastic strap
to help hold the camera in place.
It’s a straightforward layout
for carrying the camera
and a few small accessories together.
How the Fujifilm X-T30 III Fits

I put my X-T30 III
inside the case to check the fit.
The camera goes underneath
the elastic retaining strap,
leaving room in the pocket
for a cable or spare battery.

Once I closed the case,
the fit felt just right!
What I especially liked
was that the case wasn’t
much bigger than my camera.

A Handle for Easy Carrying

There’s also a handle
on the outside of the case.
I mainly plan to keep it
inside a larger bag,
but the handle means
I can carry the case on its own
when I need to.
Spare Battery Storage Could Be Better

There’s enough room
to put a spare battery
inside the pocket.
The downside is that
the battery isn’t held
firmly in place.

There’s some space around it,
so it can move around.
If I carried the case
with the camera taken out,
I think the battery
would rattle inside.
Having space for a spare battery
is convenient,
but I wish the pocket
held it a little more securely.
Still, the pocket is also meant
for cables and other small items,
so making it fit
only a battery snugly
would probably limit its usefulness.
It Closes with the Camera Strap Inside

I also tried putting
the camera strap inside
without carefully arranging it.

The case still closed
without any trouble.
It was nice not having
to neatly fold the strap
every time I put the camera away.
With my current setup,
the camera and strap
both fit inside comfortably.
My Thoughts on Using It for Travel
I plan to use this hard case
on longer trips,
especially when packing my camera
inside a backpack
or storing it in a suitcase.
The snug fit
around my X-T30 III
was my favorite part.
I also liked having room
for a spare battery
and a cable.
The battery moving around
inside the pocket
is a small drawback,
but overall,
I’m happy with the size
and storage layout.
I’ll keep using
my existing pouch day to day,
and bring this hard case
when I travel.
If you’re looking for
a camera pouch or hard case
for your Fujifilm X-T30 III,
I hope this review
helps you get a better idea
of how it fits!
