Since we were by the sea,
I felt like we had to eat some fish.

I thought grilled fish would be
perfect for breakfast,
so I started looking for a place nearby.

Then, while passing by our accommodation,
someone who seemed to be a local
recommended this place to us!

There was another grilled fish restaurant
across the street,
and they said that place was good too.

But since we wanted breakfast,
we skipped it because
it seemed to open around 10 or 11 AM.

That’s how we ended up choosing
Mukho Eojang!

Mukho Eojang was listed
as opening from 8 AM.

First of all,
it was really close to our accommodation,
which was very convenient!

It can be surprisingly difficult
to find restaurants that open early
for breakfast in Mukho.

Since Mukho Eojang opens from 8 AM,
it was a good option
for an early breakfast.

Mukho Eojang Opening Hours

We visited Mukho Eojang
for breakfast.

The restaurant actually used to be
at another location nearby,
but they had moved
to this current location.

Maybe because of that,
the sign and exterior
looked nice and clean!

It was listed as opening at 8 AM,
but of course,
we didn’t arrive exactly at 8.

We got there at around 8:10 AM
and asked if we could eat.

They checked with the kitchen
and told us it was okay!

However, if you visit
right at opening time,
you might have to wait a little
depending on how ready the kitchen is.

So keep that in mind
if you’re planning
to visit early in the morning!

Mukho Eojang Menu

The menu looked like this.

Since there were two of us,
we ordered the set for two!

I actually wanted
to eat grilled hairtail,
but I couldn’t find
a regular grilled hairtail dish
on the menu.

That was a little disappointing,
but we still got to enjoy
a variety of grilled fish.

Inside Mukho Eojang

The restaurant was
more spacious than I expected,
and the interior was
clean and comfortable.

Since we visited early,
it was also nice and quiet
for breakfast.

I also really liked
the Mukho Eojang logo.

I think it looks really cute!

And there was one thing
that made the restaurant
even more memorable.

It seemed like
a couple was running the restaurant,
and the owner had
karaoke-style instrumental music
playing inside.

It honestly felt like
someone should grab a microphone
and start singing!

It was a funny little detail
that I still remember.

Grilled Fish Set for Two

After ordering,
the side dishes came out first.

This is exactly why
I love Korean meals!

We got a nice variety
of side dishes,
and everything was delicious.

Rice, soup, and soy sauce
were served together as well.

The soup had a slightly spicy
and refreshing flavor,
and it was really good!

And finally…

The main grilled fish arrived!

Everything was delicious.

The fish was cooked really well,
and especially the mackerel
was so moist and tender!

It went perfectly with rice
and all the side dishes.

It really felt like
a proper Korean breakfast.

The only thing I regretted
was not getting to eat hairtail…

I really wanted some!

Recommended for Breakfast in Mukho!

If you’re traveling around Mukho,
finding somewhere to eat
early in the morning
can be a little tricky.

Mukho Eojang opens from 8 AM

I was really satisfied!
